About Us

Paul Vidler has been at the head of Crown Salvage since its inception in 1978. Having served in the Royal Engineers, with expertise in electrical engineering, bomb disposal and deep sea diving, he has developed Crown Salvage into a strong and dependable company specialising in the buying and selling of damaged, surplus and abandoned cargo.

Expertise stems from long-standing international experience handling stock made complicated by its politically or geographically difficult location, or due to the complexity and restrictive nature of the cargo itself. For this reason the company believes in the hands-on approach to business.

We give a dedicated, professional approach to all surveys no matter how large or small the volume, and no matter where in the world the stock is located.

Due to the complexity of many of the projects it is vital that we have good, solid relationships with our buyers, and we are extremely proud of the enduring relationships developed over the years.

When you are looking to limit your loss, and require an immediate decision on your cargo, give us a call and let us show you what we can do for you.
